Tim has been a recreational musher for over two decades. He has his own kennel of sled dogs. In fact, 6 of his current 11 dogs are Siberian huskies that he adopted from Gavin's kennel when Gavin moved to Alaskan huskies for long-distance racing. Tim, his wife Beth and children Laurel (4 years) and Alex (2 years) enjoy life on their hobby farm outside of Ottawa. In addition to the dog team, they have two horses .

As a member of Team Trail Dancer, Tim chases Gavin down the trail to create videos for YouTube, he produces the Trail Talk Podcasts and generally helps out with the Web site. He enjoys "talking dog" with Gavin and Dom.
